The creation and maintenance of sustainable food growing resources is integral to our long term health and well being. Seed is the basis of our food. Food is at the core of our bodies existence.

It is our hope that people will also take the opportunity to save some of the seeds that come from the plants these seeds grow. In this way we can save some of our rarer plant species from dwindling and perhaps dying out.

Emma’s Acres is the nationally recognized, award winning 8.5 acre small lot social enterprise owned and operated by the L.I.N.C. Society. Since 2014, Emma’s Acres has supported food security and transformative justice in the District of Mission by bringing together victims/survivors of crime, incarcerated individuals, correctional staff & members of the general public to grow non-spray, non-gmo fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

Mission Meat Shop provides fresh and frozen beef, pork, chicken and lamb. Turkeys are seasonally brought in for the holidays.

Mission Meat Shop also provides a cut and wrap service for farmers. Processing beef for roast, steak, ribs, ground, jerky and sausage.

Pork processing for hams, bacon and sausage.

Mission Meat Shop makes custom orders of sausage with the farmers animals with a minimum of 25lbs per batch. Our list of sausages include farmer, dinner, breakfast, maple, cheese smokey, pepperoni chorizo, bratwurst, garlic coil, and salamis.

Mission Meat Shop also provides cut and wrap for the hunters. We get very busy in the fall and try to do our best not to turn anyone away.

Our mission is to provide our customers with convenient access to high-quality, sustainably sourced frozen seafood, delivered straight to their doorstep.

I started my Pepper Jellies for a couple reasons; my husband loves spicy, and there isn't a lot of different pepper jellies out there! So BOOM! Miss Marki's Pepper Jellies started in December 2020 with a range of mild to hot pepper jellies with unique flavours like Pumpkin Spice Habanero, Peach Serrano Jelly and Mango Habanero Jelly.

Here we are today with over 4,000 jars sold throughout the lower mainland, British Columbia and even shipped to parts of Alberta and the US.

Our free-range hens roam freely, enjoying a natural foraging diet that contributes to the soil regeneration process for our vegetable gardens. We are proud to offer farm-fresh eggs year-round, and in the summer months, we also offer a variety of fresh veggies straight from our garden.

At Steel Creek Farm, we are committed to learning and growing in our understanding of self-sustainability. While we are a small-scale farm and may not be professional farmers, we are dedicated to doing what we can to produce high-quality food that nourishes us and our community.
